My brother and I had a wonderful day fishing trip with Captain Oscar Estringel. Oscar picked us up at the Bird Island boat ramp at 6:30 and was prompt and ready to go. He’s an excellent boat captain and an even better fishing guide. He explained us how the upper Laguna Madre is Fishing at this time of the year which was July 21 and 22nd. We fish several flats areas where grass and mud shell mix intersected and were successful. I was especially fortunate to land my personal best 24 inch speckled trout. Oscar is a great guy and easy to get along with. He is helpful without being overbearing. He is a humorous fellow with a great eye towards the water and locating feeding fish. The second day we fish similar areas however the fishing was slow until the final 45 minutes when Captain Oscar found feeding fish and positioned us to catch them on artificial lures. All Fishing was done with artificial lures. We all filled our limits quickly and continue to fish for 45 minutes catching Multiple trout with no recollection of how many. I guess once you get to 10 fish you stopped counting! He is very helpful getting people on and off the boat as we are both in our 60s. He is pleasant to talk to and I just can’t recommend a Fishing Captain higher. Book him as soon as you can because I will probably fill up several slots soon! Thanks Oscar!

Great trip with Captain Oscar Estringel for a recent fishing tournament with family members. Capt Oscar put us on the fish and gave us a fighting chance to keep us in the hunt. As always, a great experience and look forward to our next trip.

Couldn't ask for a better trip!!! Capt Oscar put us on a wide variety of fish 🐟 . He helped put an amazing smile on my sons face when he landed his 1st big fish. He was there to help out and guide him through the step of fishing and what to look for. Can't wait for our next trip 🤘❤️

Oscar did a great job of staying on top of our needs to keep lines in the water and very patience with our lack of experience. Overall was a great day on the water with a great guide! Thanks Oscar Urby with Scott Ac & heating Company sponsored guided trip, can't wait till next year.

Capt Oscar has such a BIG heart ❤️ for not only fishing but for teaching as well. I’ve never known someone to have to much love for the water as much as he does. He also has patience with children He always makes sure they have a great experience fishing and educating them about the water.

Captain Oscar will not only get you on the fish he will educate you on what to look for and how to fish. He's polite, informative and patient. He has top quality gear and is safe on the water. It was a great adventure and I look forward to fishing with Oscar again soon!
